QTRA

Quantified Tree Risk Assessment

Under the Occupiers Liability Act 1957 and 1984, landowner/estate managers have a duty of care to ensure other people are not endangered by trees on their property.  To fulfill this duty of care, a regular inspection of all trees should be made by a competent arboriculturist.

Jason is certified to undertake Quantified Tree Risk Assessments (QTRA) for landowners, local authorities, parish councils, and developers to quantify the level of risk posed by a tree in its current condition and location.

The QTRA survey details the tree species, height, age, crown spread, trunk diameter, vitality, condition, and target area. From the information recorded a risk rating is given for each tree depending on its condition. From the risk rating, suitable timing of the recommended works can be programmed.

We would be happy to discuss terms for carrying out a quantified tree risk assessment for trees growing on your land.
